I grew up in Madera and my family’s experience in the military and law enforcement encouraged me to enter the field. At the age of fourteen I became a police explorer for Madera Police Department and at age 21 became a volunteer. I’m grateful for my time with Madera PD as it strengthened my draw to the noble profession of law enforcement. The desire to safeguard my community and make a positive impact was ingrained in me from an early age.

I had pursued a career as a Correctional Officer but due to injuries sustained on the job, my career path shifted. With the support of my family and friends, I continue to pursue my career in law enforcement, fueled by passion and a deep-rooted sense of duty. My journey from a police explorer to a Community Service Officer has been an arduous one, marked by unexpected detours and challenges. However, through resilience, determination, and the unwavering support of my loved ones, I have found fulfillment and meaning in my career. Every day, I strive to protect and serve the community I have grown to call home, motivated by the belief that I can make a positive difference in people’s lives.
